Nolan as caretaker as long as he's not allowed to play. Might be interesting to see how he performed and how many touch line bans he got. Entertaining for sure.

Re: If Allarydce left for Villa?

A colleague of mine was at a business meeting last Monday week which also included David Gold on a panel discussion.
He was asked in front of about 100 people who will be the next West Ham manager.
He answered, "When Sam leaves, Chris Houghton will be the next West Ham manager."
My colleague felt the answer was a genuine reply to an honest question.

I'll give him a lift up there myself. By 'lift' I mean chained to the back of a pick up truck and dragged.

Doing anything other than keep this manager in place until the end of the season would be ridiculous. No credible club would sack a manager in the Spring when they are 8th.

PS It was good to see good old Tim Sherwood mentioned for this job as well though.
For a bloke who hasn't really done much in mnagement, he's a popular fucker until they actually interview him.
Maybe it never works as he takes along the bloke he picked out from the crowd once and sends him in to answer the questions for him.

He won't be leaving us for a couple of years, so no point even discussing.
Why leave for a sinking ship when he's still rebuilding us.

Shocking thread ffs. He's the 10th highest paid manager in the world. He isn't going anywhere till we get rid.

Nicey is a confidence "player," we are going through a tough patch and the moaners are out again in full force, so Nicey has the support and confidence he needs to bring it out again.
No uncommon behaviour - giving it large when you have a group with you, falling suspectly silent when you don't.

He will use the Villa job as a bargaining tool for another 2 years here. Our owners will fall for it hook line and sinker.

i cant see fatty going to Villa, but i can see him heading to QPR or Leicester (when they get rid). his contract is running down, an offer of a 2 or 3 year deal is financial security for him.
